Adventure Time RPG fishing guide

Updated October 23, 2026

Fishing is the calm side of Adventure Time RPG: no monsters, just a timing mini-game that pays out Coins, consumables, chests and the odd weapon. Talk to Fern in the hub to get started.

How to catch a fish

  1. Head to the fishing area from the hub and step up to the water. Careful: you can fall in.
  2. Cast, then wait for the line to wiggle.
  3. Reel: keep the fish inside the green zone while the meter fills. If it slips out, it gets away.
  4. Fish near the bottom of the bar fill the meter faster. You can move while you fish.
There is no auto-fishing, so it takes practice. Missed catches don't cost you anything; just cast again.
