Adventure Time RPG beginner guide

Your first hour is short: clear the tutorial, equip BMO, finish "Buddy Up" to unlock more quests, then start farming Mount Cragdor. Here is each step and the mistakes that slow new players down.
COINS50 → daily quests → Mount Cragdor on Easy.
1. The tutorial: Ice Palace and the Ice King
Cuber and Prismo send you to the Ice Palace. You fight waves of penguins, then the Ice King himself. The fight ends when he gives up, and your quest changes to Break the Ice: walk up to the frozen BMO and press E.
After the rescue, press Collect, open the chest in Prismo's yellow room and you arrive in the hub.
Leaving the game mid-fight restarts that fight, so finish it in one go.
2. Equip BMO, your first buddy
This is the step most new players miss. BMO does not equip itself after the rescue.
- Open Manage and select your hero.
- Go to the buddy tab (the smiley face).
- Select BMO and press Equip.
BMO gives bonus XP and a Mark Target ability on F.
3. Finish "Buddy Up" to unlock more of the game
With BMO equipped, talk to Finn in the hub. That completes Buddy Up, which gives you Medicine Milk, unlocks the Supplies button and opens new quests, including Princess Bubblegum's event quest. Until you do this, she only has a generic line for you.
4. Healing with Medicine Milk
Medicine Milk heals over a few seconds rather than instantly. Drink it from Supplies during a run at around 40% health, not when you are about to go down.
5. Coins, Gems and free rewards
- Coins are the main currency for upgrades. Gems are the premium-feeling currency you also earn in play.
- Redeem the current code and claim the Daily Rewards pop-up each time you join.
- Skins are cosmetic only. Save Coins for upgrades instead.
6. Daily quests on the Notice Board
The Notice Board stands in the hub next to the icy Upgrades area. It holds three daily quests. Press Start on each quest before you play, or your progress will not count.
7. Your first adventure: Mount Cragdor
Pick Play → Mount Cragdor → Easy. It is the recommended level 1 run.

- Worms flash a red ring before they attack. Dodge out of it with Shift.
- Trees can block the camera. Fight in open ground where you can.
- Bring friends: a party makes the boss section much easier.
