Coins pay for upgrades and market items; Gems are the premium currency. You can earn both without spending Robux. Here is every source we know and a calculator for the Robux packs.
How to get Coins
- Codes: redeem every working code (COINS50 gives 50 Coins).
- Adventures: Coins drop from enemies, and glowing crates, cabinets and chests along the route hold more. You keep them even if the run fails.
- Enchiridion buff: find all three pages in one run for a timed bonus to Coins from adventures.
- Daily quests and Daily Rewards: the steadiest income for new players.
- Fishing: catches pay Coins, and Fern buys fish for a couple of Coins each. Fishing guide.
- Dungeon Train milestones: first-time room milestones pay out Coins.
- Royal Treasury pass (300 Robux): a daily Coin stash.
How to get Gems
- Daily Rewards: later days of the login calendar give Gems.
- Daily quests: finishing all three gives bonus Gems.
- Achievements: in-game achievements pay Gems and unlock titles.
- Dungeon Train: mini-boss chests and milestones can hold Gems.
What to spend them on
- Your main weapon. Upgrades make the biggest difference. Weapons.
- Bacon Pancakes for your buddy, from Choose Goose's market. Buddies.
- Consumables before hard runs: Medicine Milk and Peppermint Salts.
- Hero essences to unlock and level heroes. Characters.
- Cosmetics last: skins have zero stats.
